		Welcome to the website of The Lancaster and Westmorland Society of Architects, or for short; ‘LAWSA’. This website contains details of who we are and what we do. LAWSA is a branch of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and the branch area covers parts of North Lancashire and the Southern half of Cumbria (the old county of Westmorland). LAWSA is a lively society run by local Architects to perform a number of functions to help, and promote the local Architectural Scene. Such events include the hugely successful schools competition, CPD Events and Social Events. We also get involved with regional RIBA issues. This website provides details of who we are, and what we do. Many excellent and experienced Chartered Architects work in the LAWSA area, and this website can be used to find their details.
